Visual

Deep purple-red. 

Palate

The sweet tannins support the fruity flavors of blackberry jam, black spiced cherries, and hints of rhubarb.

Nose

Aromas of cigar, leather and smoked meat fill the nose with hints of wood and baking spices.  

Winemaking

Traditional vinification is followed by aging in French oak barrels, 35% new and 65% at the second and third use.
