Vanitoso Primitivo Riserva - 2016 - Gioia del Colle D.O.C.
Purplish red, intense and brilliant, turning slowly towards orange with aging.
Palate: warm, smooth, quite tannic, full-bodied, balanced, intense and persistent with a final pleasing taste that is subtle and elegant. The aftertaste is pleasantly spicy and harmonious, becoming velvety with aging.
Large bouquet, intense, persistent, fine, ripe red fruit and spicy, enriching pleasantly with time.
The grapes are hand-picked, checked and reselected in the cellar, where they are crushed and destemmed, and sent to fermenters for alcoholic fermentation on the skins at a controlled temperature. Aging: in 60 hl oak casks for 18 months and 225 l barriques for 6 months.
