Vin Fromm Winery

Georg Fromm and Hätsch Kalberer met in the late 1980s and decided to create the Fromm winery, but it was not until 1992 that the first harvest was obtained. Since then Fromm Winery has built an international reputation for producing a range of outstanding wines that reflect both European style and Kiwi ingenuity. The Fromm family returned to Switzerland in 2008, but the winemaking team continued and continues to produce Pinot Noir that truly reflects the expression of the terroir, Syrah co-fermented with Viognier, and Fromm can proudly say that owns the oldest Malbec vineyard from New Zealand. Today, the passion for wine continues, now under the watchful eye of longtime family friend and owner Pol Lenzinger, co-owner Stephan Walliser and Swiss business partner George Walliser.
